The widest and a commonly used technique of affiliate marketing. Here you will receive commissions not only for any promises made but to actually convert the lead into sale for the merchant. Most of the merchants are adopting this technique as this is the only model where you can make instant money and can actually receives the returns of your efforts in setting Affiliate networks for your site. You are paid a commission only when a visitor clicks a link or a banner on your site, and then purchases a product from the merchant's site.

Pay per Sale technique can be adopted in two different manners.

• Bounty (Flat Fee Referral): Merchant offers you a one time commission on any new customer referred to his site. Commission is made only once he purchases some thing from the merchant's site. Once you have referred a customer and the sale has been made by him, you will get your commission as a monthly payout. You have nothing to do with any further references given by that customer to the merchant's site.
  
  Now, this is a technique where a merchant can easily keep a track of his sales and for the site owners who are helping them to get that sale for him.
• Two-Tier-Programs: Now here the actual money lies. You will get Commission on Direct sales plus commission on sales generated by other network affiliates recommended by you. Isn't this great! You will get life long return from one customer recommended by you.

Two Tier program is actually a kind of Multi level marketing where any affiliate created by you for the merchant site will give you a life long return. Create three to four affiliates and just sit back and watch the monetary returns coming to you regularly.

In a two-tier program or a multi-tier technique (Two or more levels of payouts), you will not get paid equally for all the levels recommended. Second level or third level recommendations will have lesser payouts than any direct affiliate sale generated by you. Commission percentage might go down as the level increases. But still you are getting handsome amount as compared to other Affiliate Techniques.

This is a technique that attracts most of the site holders towards your site and is happily ready to be a part of your affiliate network.
